The event is titled 'Biomass RHI application / heat metering seminar and site tour'. The day will begin with a number of informative seminars on RHI, featuring biomass and RHi technology specification and the key issues, heat metering, and from Ofgem's senior RHI reviewer Andrew Morrall a talk on 'Getting your RHI application right first time'.

The Gardens are home to a 500kW biomass boiler system in a purpose built boiler house with an integrated biomass fuel store. Adam will be discussing retrofitting the boiler to Waterperry's site, specifically metering for the RHI.

Jack Knight will be giving detailed tours around the boiler site, talking specifically about the fuel store and the available storage solutions. This includes the history, plant, operation, maintenance and issues surrounding Waterperry Gardens and how Rural Energy have dealt with maintaining Waterperry's system to achieve best use and therefore RHI paybacks.
